Rick Glenn – Director / Animation Director
A fifteen-year veteran of both live action and animated productions in feature film and commercials, Rick has been writing and directing content since 2008.
Trained at the prestigious Art Center College of Design, Rick has lent his design skills to projects that vary from jet aircraft to the Walt Disney Concert Hall with Frank Gehry. His concept designs and storyboard work led to a career as an Art Director in video games with such premiere studios as Activision, EA, Pandemic and Rockstar.
His love of cinematic storytelling brought him to feature film work in visual effects as an award winning animator. A rare eye for highly realistic motion and anatomy as well as the exaggerated comedy work of cartoon features; Rick’s work in feature animation has crossed the gamut from Sentinels in the ‘Matrix: Revolutions’, to Surfing Penguins in ‘Surf’s Up’.
Rick’s animation is featured in two Academy Award Nominated feature films in the Best Animated Feature category as well as commercials that garnered four Clio’s, and a VES Award.
Rick’s previous short film ‘L.A. Bag Brothers’ was an official selection at the Palm Springs International ShortFest, and was sold for broadcast in the European market.
‘Supervised’ a sci-fi short that Rick co-wrote and directed is currently in festivals, and has already won ‘Best Visual Effects’ at the L.A. New Wave Festival.
